Your bikes are popular with reviewers and mags and the specs are spot on. How come they are cheaper than the competition and not at my local dealer?
We can pass savings on to you by selling direct (with free delivery to most parts of the UK). We know our bikes and make sure you get the right bike for your ride style and body statistics. Our bikes are inspected by us, delivered tuned up to your stats and assembled to ride. If you really want to see our bikes at your favourite local dealer do encourage them to contact us to get a demo bike into their store.
What if I'm worried about getting the right size?
Start your sizing process by using the size guide on the Bikes page. We think sizing is really important to obtain the perfect ride so if you have any concerns or fall between sizes contact us as we can help you get the right bike. When the 09 bikes arrive we shall put up lots of non studio images of the bikes on our flickr link so you get to see the bikes in the ‘real world’. For mind comfort you will know that you can send your unused bike back for a refund or replacement as long as it hasn't left your front room (our showroom!). Just get in contact and we will arrange collection. We offer homefit as a cost option in most areas of the UK and will hold demo days at classic UK trails. Make sure you are registered as a KHS insider for news on demo days (you can register on our home page). What are the 2009 changes to the 2008 XC604 tested by MBUK?
We're spelling it out so you have all the details of changes you need:
- Our frame is the same winning design and material, it's just a lot more black
- Upgrade to X Fusion rear shock with rebound and compression adjust and on the fly lockout to match up with the lock out on the forks
- Upgrade to Mavic XM317disc rims for lighter rolling weight
- Switch to new Shimano SLX Shadow derailleur with deore shifters
- Revamped Marzocchi Pro LO Fork now called the 22LO with the same plush feel (preload is adjustable) and quality rebound damping (now factory set) with a new easy reach compression adjustment/Lock Out lever on the top of fork leg
- Switch to wider, more trail friendly FSA XC300 bars and our own Q2 stem
- Switch to wellgo alloy cage instead of wellgo spd pedals
Do you sell KHS frames?
Our frames are a good start to a special custom build. We will be selling frames for the trail bike models and several other framesets from the US range. These will be in limited supply initially so contact us for availability and pricing.
What is the KHS warranty policy?
KHS bikes and frames sold in UK come with the benefit of UK warranty support and administration and complete after sales back up for KHS spares, servicing and advice. We always hold a stock of frames so that in the unlikely event of a warranty issue it can be managed efficiently here in the UK to get you back on the trails as quickly as possible.
