About KHS Bikes
KHS bikes UK is the UK distributor for KHS Bicycles Inc. We are bringing their bikes here because KHS have always managed the holy grail of making instant classic, great riding, well specced bikes without overdoing the price.
KHS were established in California, USA in 1975 and have always been involved in the American mountain bike scene, making great bikes and supporting racers. That continues today with Melissa Buhl winning the 2008 4X world champs on her KHS.
The bikes we are getting to see in the UK have a heritage of ongoing development in the discerning American mountain bike market. They do well in American bike reviews with comments like "spot on geometry" and "like a bike almost twice its retail price" (XC604 Mountain Bike Action 11/07). We're glad to see these ride qualities translate to British reviewers with MBUK calling the XC604 "probably the best suspension bike under £1000" and a "brilliantly designed and superbly controlled machine."
